How to Get GST Registration in India


Preparing a GST return is new Concept in India and Filling GST for business who have more than turnover more than 40 Lakh is mandatory. GST registration online is easy for accounting professional and Charted accounts but too hard for other normal business people. And the other of I am not recommending hire a professional because filling wrong detail can trouble a Individual getting GST credit or he will also can be charged for Penalty if something Is not right.

Here is the step By step procedure for GST registration.

Visit GST site https://www.gst.gov.in/

Click on Register now Link which you found on register now Tab.

Click on New Registration.

After that you need to fill the following detail.

Under I am drop-down menu, select: Taxpayer.

Select state and district from the drop-down menu.

Enter Name of your Business.

Enter Pan Of your Business.

Enter the email ID and mobile number in the respective boxes.

Enter the Image that is shown on the screen in the respective box and click on proceed.

On the next page, enter that was sent to email ID and mobile number in the respective boxes.

Then Click on Proceed.

Individual will be provide a Temporary Reference Number (TRN)

Next individuals must enter the TRN and the Captcha details.

Once the detail has been entered click on proceed.

You have received an OTP in your Email ID and registered mobile number. Enter the OTP on the next page and click on Proceed.

There are 10 sections on next page. All the relevant details must be filled and the necessary documents must be submitted.

The List of documents required.

Photograph.

Address where Business Located.

Bank details.

Authorization form.

The constitution of the taxpayer.

Once all of details has been enter visit on the verification page and submit the application by using one of the below methods.

By Using Electronic verification Code (EVC). The code will be sent to the registered mobile number of applicants.

By using the e-sign method. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number that has been linked with the Adhar card.

Once the above step is completed, a success message will be shown on the screen. The Application Reference

Number (ARN) will be sent to the registered mobile number and Email ID

Individual can check the status of the ARN on the GST Portal.
